what is the reasons of acidity? what is the solution of acidity? do's & don't, eat, fitness, for acidity.

Acidity can be due to various reasons. There are some food (specially fried food, raw onion etc) which may give rise to acidity, or if the acid secreting cells in the stomach become hyperactive that also may lead to acidity. Excessive anxiety or worries also can lead to acidity.
To get the solution one should consult a general physician and if necessary a gastroenterologist in case the problem is not easily cured. Normally antacids (taken after food) or some medicines which reduce acid secretion are prescribed. If the patient has other problems like constipation etc then those things are also to be taken into account. In complicated cases endoscopy of part of digestive system is advised. Patient should try to lead anxiety-free life and if that seems difficult then medicines are given for that also. Please consult a physician.

Firstly from when he is getting this problem ? did he tried any medicines? had he consulted any physician ? is it associated with any stomach pain or loose stools? Acidity may be due to eating late night dinners, anxiety, eating spicy things . Is it associated with nausea or vomiting?Is he getting enough sleep ? If not then consult a physician now by the time you start with Cap Omeperazole 20 mg once daily and get him checked. Dont eat late night dinners and stay cool. if its regular use a course of
omeprazole 20 mg once for 20 days
bismuth colloial sulphate twice daily for 15 days
and metronidazole 400 mg three times a day for 15 days
