Personally, 120lb. would be really good. So that's 42lb. to lose

First of all, do not be discouraged. A lot of people, because of self discouragement, change there goal weight to something "more reasonable" when in reality even their goal weight is still an unhealthy weight. Be ambitious. You don't want to be just healthy, you want to be attractive. It is possible. My pastor's wife has had 7 children and has maintained a weight of 112lb. She doesn't deprive herself of nutrition, she eats meat, bread and potatoes, but boy does she exercise hard. She doesn't turn to food for comfort, she has a fulfilling family life. You need to love life more than food.

Also, don't just have a weight goal, have a body fat% goal, a faster mile goal, a smaller waist/hips goal, or a weight lifting goal.

You will probably start to feel and look a ton better weighing between 115 and 125. Which is more do-able than it sounds! It helps to break down your weight loss into 5-pound increments, so instead of saying, I need to lose 35 pounds or whatever, just say, I need to lose 5, then when you lose that 5, lose another 5... anyway, I digress, but for 5'3 between 115-125 is good. I'm 5'4 and weigh 105 and that is actually underweight.

It depends on a lot of factors, such as your body frame and bone structure. If you have large muscle and bones, you are likely to weigh on the higher end. Go on the internet and type in BMI calculator and you will see what is right for you. A BMI of 18.5-24.9 is considered healthy weight, a BMI of 25.0-29.9 is considered overweight, and a BMI of 30+ is obese. If your frame is large, you should weigh in the higher end of your healthy weight such as a BMI around 22-24.

A good weight would be around 120-130. You can check your BMI (body mass index) and it will tell you if you are overweight.
