It depends what you have been talking about the past couple of weeks? Have you been finding out about each others interests, family, etc? If so at some point the you are going to start discussing sex.
However you control the topic of conversation just as much your male friend does, so if you want to get away from talking about sex, do so. If he likes you, & is attracted to you, he will respect you & be patient until your ready.
Take your time & move things at your own pace.

ok im gonna be honest.. as much as meetin people off the net can be good it can also be bad..
worst of all myspace isnt the greatest of places to meet people, i had some bad experiences down the past but anyway..
you might end up going out with this guy and then he might meet someone else on myspace then start liking her too..
i dont hate myspace but using it for dating and stuff i dont think is a good idea..
alot of people on myspace nowadays use it for attention, not saying this guy is an attention seeker but if he is he'll be adding alot of girls to his list vice versa and its giving him a big pick of girls to choose from..
honestly i wouldnt date someone who speaks to 100 ppl off myspace on msn or something because it can get quite worrying.
ive done it so many times.. felt like i had met a nice girl (over 5 times this happened) then we went out or w/e for abit.. it was hard to relate to much since we didnt know eachother but some of it worked however after awhile these ppl just dropped me for someone else they'd met on myspace.
if the person is willing to see you as a friend first and doesnt date many people then i think you should go for it but if hes on msn/myspace alot he might just be on it to speak to alot of people. No one likes competition right?
i prefer to just meet/date girls from school or when im out or something, you can tell by their emotions there and then if they are interested.
speaking over msn could mean anything, it could be all fake talk tbh.
wait for the right person. if your sure this guy likes you and likes no one else then go for it, i wish you gd luck :)
