Wow. You really think you need to lose weight? This really astounds me and saddens me. I actually think you are already about 5 lbs UNDERWEIGHT. You may need to just tone up and that can easily be done at your age. If you incorporate some pilates, yoga (to lengthen your muscles) and some moderate weight lifting you would be surprised how it would transform your body. I actually would recommend this method over you trying to lose an additional 20 lbs. If that is in fact your goal, my dear, you have an even bigger problem with body image. There is absolutely no way that you should even be thinking about losing weight. Focus on toning and getting some definition first and then MAYBE.... well I hope this helps and best of luck. And the only opinion that matters about your body is your own. Don't go to those stupid magazines to figure out what you SHOULD look like, please.
Best of luck and I hope you at least consider what I've said.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Your weight is normal, please don't think you have to lose any. Just stay active and eat a lot of healthy food. you'll feel stronger, and your clothes will fit better. I bet no one else other than yourself feel you look fat. Trust me. I weighed abotu the same when I was your age, I always thought I looked fat so I started skipping breakfast and sometimes lunch. You know what happened....? I gained weight....all through high school, and then through college....and now I weigh about 250 pounds. I'm only 5'2". I look back at my pictures of when I thought I was fat and realize that I looked great....back then. It's easier to make good habits now, then to fix mistakes later. Just focus on staying where you're at....you are doing great! Be proud!

If you work out every day and eat healthy, you are most likely healthy and that "extra" 20 lbs (which is not overweight by any means) is probably mostly muscle, which is a good thing. Don't look at the scale if it bothers you. Notice how your clothes feel on you instead. They are a better indication of how fit you are. If you need an idea of what weight range is healthy for your age and height, visit the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (cdc.gov) and click on the link for "BMI (body mass index) child and teen calculator." Enter your info, and take into consideration that muscle weighs much more than fat, so the scale may be slightly off for you. But I do commend you for being health conscious at your age. Please remember that "thin" doesn't neccessarily mean "healthy." Being healthy feels and looks better.

At 5' 4" and 120 pounds, you do not need to lose any weight. Just keep doing what you are doing, and you will look and feel good.

120 is a very healthy weight for your height. You need to get counseling about your body image. You are not fat. When you look in the mirror you are not seeing reality, but your fears. I'm sure you are a beautifull young lady. Look up the health risks of being underweight, or anorexic. Health means being your appropriate weight, not over OR under. Good luck.

You are underweight and gaining weight is part of the normal growth process. Listen to your body and don't starve yourself. Eat when your hungry and stop when you've had enough. Everyone gains a lot of weight during puberty

stop looking in the mirror. Thats a sign of someone who is capable of having an eating disorder. It happens because people look at their body as if it is under a microscope instead of just looking at it as a whole.
