i'm sure you've seen this as well. there is a book out about natural cures that the government doesn't want us to know about. the guy who wrote it says there a natural cures that can really cure diseases, like AIDS, the flu, headaches, back pains, plus many others. he also says that the government won't let us know what they are because it'll put drug companies out of business.

i just wanted to know if this book really does help, and if what he says, really does cure people?

I have also seen that infomercial. I can't remember all the claims, but I know that one of them is all our colons are full of crap and that we need to flush them out and this will help us stay healthy. I know this is false, his main claim was that John Wayne had 35 lbs. of stuff backed up in his gut when he died. According to snopes.com, there was no autopsy performed on him, so they couldn't possibly know it. Check out this link--it also explains why it would be impossible to live with that much stuff backed up.

In addition, there is no reason why the government would want to keep those secrets from us. This also assumes that ALL governments are in some sort of conspiracy together because if other countries had success with any of the natural treatments they are touting, we would have heard about it.

I don't mean to discourage people from exploring alternative healing--I don't think that it's completely a farce, but I don't think people should buy into the conspiracy theory of the government hiding know life-saving cures from us either.

I don't know about cures for diseases. It's possible. But I personally know of a few natural treatments that do seem to help certain things. Such as Lactinex pills or Acidopholus for cold sores, and apple cider vinegar applied to certain rashes, shingles and herpes. Gloucosamine really does help sore knees, but it takes about 2 weeks. Small home traction device really amazingly helped my back.
I do think that proper nutrition, enough sleep and exercise will turn a lot of illnesses around because they get your body in the right shape to heal itself.
I heard an interview one time with a woman who claimed the cure for cancer exists but is being suppressed so as not to run hospitals and clinics out of business. I don't know if it's true.

The book is a lead in. He doesn't really give you much info except to point fingers and say he's not allowed to tell you things. Then the book, directs you to a membership only website, that you pay through the nose to belong to, and get billed for a yr at a a time I believe. That is where you get the info from.

Kevin Trudeau is out to make money just like the next person. If he really wanted to help people he wouldn't sell books that lead to having to sign up for expensive memberships on his website in order to get more info. His book offers very little hands-on help with ailments such as acid reflux but basically it really is a dead in.

I have issues with stuff like that. I personally think that if you just beleive it's working, it might. Kind of like a placebo.
My In-laws are kind of crazy like that. They both had a really bad cold, but instead of using the Zicam, they just held it in their hands and said "I will this medicine to work". They claimed it worked. I have my doubts as they were both really sick for about 2 weeks.
