Call the vet. some plants are toxic to animals. I don't know what type of stuff comes out of a chia, but run it by the vet who normally sees your pet. They should be able to look up if that type of plants is bad for your dog.

Get off the computer and call the vet. I don't know what kind of plant is in the chia pet but, you need to find out if it is poisonous to your dog.

Take him to the vet. Most likely the vomiting will stop but dogs get dehydrated very easily. My dog ate something on Christmas and the ER vet gave her a fluid / nutrient shot on her back and she was back to normal by the evening. Dogs are really sensitive to all kinds of things we would never consider and you want to make sure that he hasn't posioned himself. If you can get the dog to drink it, give it some Pedia-Lyte. ( Can be found in the baby section of any store) to help keep it hydrated.

Call your vet, and get him water. Let him keep barfing. Chia leaves aren't poisonous. They are just bean sprouts of some sort.
