I live in Pittsburgh, Pa and I was at a Chinese Buffet and they had delicious Cotton Candy Ice Cream with like little hardened crystals of Cotton Candy in it. Ever since then I have been craving Cotton Candy Ice Cream but I can't find it in the Supermarkets. Does anyone in the Pittsburgh area know of a grocery store that does carry it? I could go to Handel's or Cold Stone but I am sure they are pricey for the little amount you get. Help!

Friendly's Ice Cream, and the frozen piecies of cotton candy are cotton candy flovored pop rocks. I don't know if you can buy it in a grocery store but I am 100% sure friendly's makes it. It only comes around in the summertime. BUt it is sooooo yummy!

You could try Bruster's. They are a local Ice Cream chain that is quite a bit less expensive than Cold Stone although the selection varies from day to day they often have cotton candy. You can always call first and check...

go to a chinese market. they would most likely have it.

if not, i think the ice cream might have been sherbet? cause supermarkets do have cotton candy sherbet.

Maybe you can call the Chinese buffet and ask them who their supplier is?
