I mean I already let go of him and he's so happy about it. Is he still affected? because somehow he knew that I lied to him about resigning my job. Is it possible that he still cares for me? But he starts saying bad words to me. Oh! how I would love to hate him but I can't. I don't want my incoming year to be filled with so much bitterness and everything! Please help.....

Did you really let go of each other?
He may still be attached to you, but that's not really the same as caring for you. It's unacceptable for him to say bad words to you. It seems that some guys tend to cover up their hurt by behaving like jerks. You broke up for a reason, so remember that. If you don't want to begin the new year with bitterness, then let him be what he is: the ex boyfriend. Maybe in time when things calm down, the two of you may be friends. But for now, get away from him and start fresh. It'll be good for you!

If you include a lie in a story, the story is a lie. If you lied about that, what else have you lied about? Don't know why you broke up, but from what little we know, you may have had issues and he was sick of the drama you put on. Sick of the twists and drama that always seems to follow. You are playing the poor girl part that doesn't want anyone upset at you regardless of what you do.
Is it possible you are reaping the seeds that you sowed?
