Your wisdom teeth are in the back of your mouth and thus close to your throat, but I've never heard of your throat hurting when you swallow. However, many problems are caused by the growth of wisdom teeth, including infections and swelling. It is entirely possible.

You may be developing an infection from the wisdom tooth coming in. It happened to me, and had to go on antibiotics for a week before I could have the scheduled surgery.

Heard that b4. I would assume it would be bcos wisdoms are in the back of ur mouth and if they growing still, could irritate ur gums and cause swelling. To stop infections, gargle with salt water or mouthwash. If it continues, see ur dentist.
