If you did that, would there be anything left.

Yahoo already sanitizes any question regarding the jews.

If you read them when the sanitation process is over they sound like advertisements from the Israeli tourism council.

No answer that suggests that Palestinians deserve any hint of human rights is allowed to stand for more than a few minutes.

Its a sad parody on the original yahoo answers.

It would certainly make for dull conversation. Its not the topics that need tweaking though, its the way the question is put as some enjoy saying the most disgraceful things with the sole purpose of angering even the most middle of the road soul.
That makes it harder for the curious to find things out without being thought a clod.
But some religious look for the insult first and that's of no use either.

No, only questions that are intended to offend anyones religions should be removed. This should be a where understanding is to be gained. Not where fights break out.

No, because then all the questions here would be removed. There is no way to talk about religion without offending someone, somewhere. Yet it needs to be talked about.

I think it depends on the type of offense. If someone has a legitimate question (that only appears offensive), then they should be allowed to ask in search of an answer. If the person is purposefully being offensive with vulgar comments, then I believe they should be removed. I think this consistently across the board for all religions and other spirituality questions.

If every questions that offends someone is removed, the will be none left to answer.

If the only intent was to offend, probably. Sorry, there's discourse and there's pointless defacement of what other people consider sacred (and true, people shouldn't bring issues here if they're not open to *some* amount of persuasion but some people do pee pretty far outside the lines here (not only are your gods not real, but your priests had sex with...well, you get the picture)).

That said, I suspect there's more than one or two people who will give me a thumbs down for simply voicing this side.

No, but people that are clearly just trying to scam or make statements to be an idiot, racist, bigot, or hate-monger don't really have any need to be asked. If those are cluttering the board real questions by people who would like truthful answers get lost in the idiot posts. Then I think at Yahoo's discretion, they should be deleted so that the Answers section can be an informative tool and not just a Troll Den.

Not necessarily, but questions with the sole purpose of offending should be removed. There is no reason why we should not be able to play nicely.

Then you'd also have to remove questions offending non-religious people, to keep it fair, and this whole section would be "Do you like bunnies? I do" and "Roller coasters make my stomach feel funny, what does this mean?" No questions about your favorite spaghetti sauce. Hidden Pastafarians!
