as a protection measure, you cannot change your region more than 2 or 3 times, you should have received a warning concerning this, you cannot change this even if you format the drive and re install windows.

Download K-lite Media Player Classic. It will play anything, and has more codecs than any other software I've ever seen. I've been a happy camper ever since I started using it. Or, you can get VLC Media Player. It's also free, but not as good.

I used to have cracked versions of all the dvd player software InterVideo WinDVD being my favorite, but K-Lite Media Player Classic does everything I need and them some . It also doesn't care about region encoding. Sometimes it takes a little technical savvy to work it, but most of time it's click and go.

You can find them easily on the web with google, or yahoo if that's your fancy.

Hey hi...

Well you are not the only one, thousands of innocent users fall victim to these money-slurping monopolistic giants... like Microsoft, Dell...

Although one is really tempted to use "cracked" versions of softwares... it is best to use FREE programs, like K-Lite (relatively safe and spyware free).

Another great alternative is DVD43. I wouldn't recommend VLC.

Search for either K-Lite or DVD43 and that should solve your problems.

Peace out,
LFI.
