My husbands family name is PRATT who originated from Minnesota I think Windham. My husbands grandfather went to Texas and raised his family there. Would like to find any Pratt family members still living in the northern states or any Pratt family members who think they are related to my husbands family living in other states.

Thank you.

Hey Lollipop,

The Pratt family has extensive documentation, because of their prominance in the jet engine industry in CT.

There is a GENFORUM site which should help you to find people interested in your specific Pratt branch(s).

There are 404 entries at the LDS Family Search site.

There are 2778 records in the Ellis Island Data base for Pratt.

I know this won't be of much help but I attend the University of Toronto and one of our libraries is called the Pratt library named after E.J Pratt... an author. It would be interesting to see if there was any relation there.

has 385 people with Surname PRATT, Birthplace MN. One is an obvious error - an Abagail Pratt born in MN in 1804, one year after the Louisians purchase. Some genealogists don't know their history.
