I have made a decision not to date until I have finished my studies. Too many of friends got hurt being in a relationship and too many had to dump the studies - first reason.

My one friend told me that sometimes a person needs to get out of his/her shell and live.

The thing is that I don't think I am ready for this type of stuff - second reason.

I believe that one can have fun being single as well. Am I wrong living this way?

I am open for your views.

you keep your head straight. do your studies. relationships come with a lot more just having a little fun every now and then. you keep your head where it is and your friend should understand that somethings are more important then going out. you have plenty of time to do all that after your finished with your studies. good luck

Good for you! I can tell you from experience... I woke up thirty years old with a beautiful baby boy, a pathetic resume, and a high school diploma. It's very scary. Do what you need to do to insure your future and be able to provide for the family you might one day have.

Being single and being in a relationship both have their pluses and minuses.

I loved being single in college. Now I am out of school, working full time, and in a committed relationship, and love it more. I guess it all depends on where you are in life.

You don't have to be in a "relationship" to go out, have a few drinks and get laid.
