PLEASE!! DON'T listen to anyone tell you that you can never be too thin! That is a sick way of thinking, and I mean that literally. Too thin CAN cause various health problems, including bone loss, which can lead to osteoporosis later on in life, if "later on" even arrives, because being too thin can also kill you. You need some body fat, and a little bit of fat is much more attractive than being too thin. For a good idea of a healthy weight for your height, whatever it is, go to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (cdc.gov) and click on the link for "child and teen BMI (body mass index) calculator" and enter your height and weight. If a person works out frequently and has a lot of muscle, this scale may not be quite accurate, but at 60 lb., I don't think that is an issue for you. To answer your question, even assuming that your height is merely 4'7", you would be considered severely underweight and should see a doctor immediately to determine the cause for your underwieghtedness and to discuss ways to become healthy. Please don't wait.

My 9 year old weighs more than that, you're about equivalent to my 6 year olds weight. Talk to your parents and go see a physician!

No

Never let anyone tell you, you are too skinny. Being skinny is far better than being fat. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a fat slob.

Good Luck
