Try to put in some hair wax ( Bed Head Cocky, is a great one ) use it at the ends to make the hair look piecey and less one length. When you blow dry, try doing some of the hair flipped out and some flipped under. Use a straightener to get rid of the "round". Get a few layers and channeling added if you can't make those things work. Remember that each hair grows at a slightly different rate, so odds are they won't all be the same "round" length for long.

Good luck.

Try using Got 2 B Shagged Out to give it a tosseld look or cut some layers into it then curl the ends of each layer out using a hair drying and a large barrel brush. If you don't want to change anything but the roundness of your current cut (so no layers) then you can still curl the ends out which will give you a wicked cute flip style.

You might want to consider having a few layers added to it. I have very thick, dark hair and I had the same problem. I loved the idea of a bob cut, but it didn't turn out quite like I had imagined. The layers I had added definitely helped.

Try to get something that will make it wavy or curly. A curling shampoo or spray should help. Decorate it with clips and bows or something. I wear braids so that's all I really can suggest.
