You could try parting it to a different side than usual.I know it sounds like nothing but it can make a big difference. If you have naturally straight hair try put some rollers in.They only need to be left in overnight, just dry your hair until it is just slightly damp, otherwise it will take ages to dry.
If you really want a change you could have some layers cut into your hair which will soften your face if you ask to have the layers framed.
The next one is to try some very fine subtle hilites, many men have these anyway but it really does give your hair a lift.
Also if you have any female friends ask them to blowdry your hair fore you as many woman always have their hair blow dried and would not go out with just washed hair, unless it was really short or realy long! Best of luck!

I definitely agree with "Trust Me". Layering would soften up the look of your hair and you would still be able to do lots of different styles with it. For example flipping the ends upwards with a big barreled curling iron. The key to having nice feminine hair also is to make sure its clean and smells good. Nothing looks better on a woman than freshly blow dried and styled hair with a nice oil sheen to complete the look. Layers also work for guys as you could try that wash and go look... if you recall Ace from American Idol, he had some pretty good looking layers going on there. Anyways hope this helps. May God keep you safe this holiday season and always.

You can have your hair cut into layers which is good for males and females. When are being a woman you can curl your hair with a fat curling iron and that will give you body and make you look more feminine. You can also use those layers as a male and flat iron your hair into some funky spikes or something! That would be really cool :) Good luck and God bless!

Heated rollers add volume to hair. I have shoulder length hair and have had 'layers' cut into it. This means that when I dry it - it looks thicker than it actually is and if I put heated rollers in - it makes it even more luxurious and voluminous. I also have regular colour and 'flashes' put in which all help to make the hair look well managed and kept (with very mimimal maintenance on my part). I don't blow dry my hair as it dries it out too much (and I'm lazy in that respect!) so I let it dry naturally, Add some Tigi after party to it to de-frizz and away we go!
There are many 'hair' magazines and on-line websites to look at for inspiration.

Wavy hair is always more femine and can be done with a hairdryer and a large curling brush. Actually you should make a private appointment with a sympathetic hairdresser (try someone older, you don't want a young girl smirking at you) and ask her advice and get her to show you how to wear your hair, and you can practise until you get it right. Older women don't usually have very long hair, so don't make that mistake. You probably want to cover your neck so shoulder-length is a good length, with a soft wave.
Good luck

My hair isn't quite shoulder-length so this is based on one of my mistakes. I attend school. Now, one time, I went into one of the computer rooms for some reason or another (I really can't remember why.) but anyway, I saw this teacher with their hair in a ponytail. From this, I assumed that they were a 'miss' but when they said something ( I recognise people by their voices,) I realised they were in fact, a 'sir'; In other words, try a ponytail.

Put some subtle highlights through it and add a soft wave when you are performing (or even just walking around!) so add a nice feminine touch to your hair. Also, use a deep conditioner to get it to that lush shiny look you see in hair commercials. Men's hair isn't really any different from women's hair...it's all about style and treatment doll!

here are some possibilities. Highlights, curling. I don't mean to make it curly, just give it a wave. Clips, or other decorate adornments might help too. You might also try growing it a little longer. When you're dressed as a male, you can always tie it in a ponytail or tuck it inside your shirt / jacket.

Why not try highlights with layers with a wispy fringe. If it's layered you can curl them or leave them straight. Don't grow it long for long's sake if it's prone to split ends. A good trim makes the end of the hair look healthy. And don't go for the bleached blonde look, it's out of date. Good luck.
