On weather women can be fighter pilots, the answer is YES, the gentlemen mentioning the backbone problem probably is a couch patato weighing 400 pounds.

But unfortunately the Indian Airforce dose not accept women in the fighter pilot role YET. However they are accepted as transport pilots, & if you want good advice thats what you want to do. You practically train to fly big transport planes for free, have lots of hours & have a nice airline job when you quit.

Just to clarify your impression of India, what you see on TV/CNN is old file footage that sets a stereo typical impression of India (kind of like when you see American footage in India, all they show you is disney, statue of liberty and the grand canyon) Indian women donr exactly stand down to men. They are very well educated (hate to tell you but education standards are much higher in India than here in the US).

You would just have to find out and ask. i see no problem in it. i know that in Australia, women are allowed to be fighter pilots, just none have ever made it. and i plan to be the first to make it. :D this might be the same in India, but dont quote me on it.

No, their back bone is not very strong as that of men.ie when an accedent occurs during flying,pilot have to eject out and they are ejecting at the rate of 9G againat the gavitational force.Womens backbone is not capabile for it.But don't worry they can become helicopter pilot in the Indian Air Force.

sure they're. In my section lady applicants are inspired and stand a extra helpful risk of having the interest. If there became a million interest and 3 applicants - 2 male and a million lady - and the adult men have been extra helpful qualified/ideal to the interest, the female applicant could get the interest
