no it is a felony to fire a gun inside city limits

No it's illegal to discharge a weapon with in city limites. Even blanks.. It might even be with 150 yards of a building. Check your state law.

Only if it legal for you to discharge a weapon on your property chances are that if you live in a city it not leagl and your neighbors are going to call the cops
