People say that "life is too short" because we all die. They're basically saying that, as life doesn't last forever, live each day to the fullest and make sure you do everything you want to do. You may die today and, if you do, will you have done everything. There is no logical translation to it. Logic doesn't always go with feelings.

In the great span of things (the earth has been around for millions of years) our lives are very short. It's good to be reminded of that sometimes so that we can make the most of the time we have and not focus on what is unimportant.

Usually the reason that people state the phrase "Lifes too short" is because they are trying to encourage another person to do something.
So saying life is to short to someone is just stating to them not to waste time contemplating it and to just do it!

Because at the end of it all, it doesn't matter if you live to be 200, that is still bloody young when compared with nature, and the universe in General. Plus, you *NEVER* Know when your number is gonna be up, so just sit back, Relax and enjoy the ride!
