Scotlland has had the ban for ages, and the silly Kents go and stand outside the pub in the pouring rain, to smoke their stupid cigarettes.

Mind you, if they had to stand naked in a bucket of shite to have a smoke, they would STILL do it.

No question there. It was tried last year. The pubs were losing money because a lot of people liked to smoke with their drinks. The pubs soon realized this and allowed smoking again, and the ones who didn't....for sale signs are still up. As it stands, we aren't allowed to smoke in shopping malls, buses, trains, planes, etc. You aren't telling us anything we don't know. The government are enforcing these bans, but where would they be without the fortune they make in taxes from the smokers?

Yeah I know, it's going to be a pain in the bum. I am a considerate smoker and never smoke near someone who doesn't like it but never again will I be allowed to smoke in a pub. Why couldn't they let the pub owners/managers make up their own minds???

LOL, we've already had that in Scotland for nearly a year. It's no big drama and certainly doesn't cause fights in pubs etc.
