my ex g/f of 4 years broke up with me 6 wks ago i have not heard anythink bad said about me not one thing is this normal we ended well,i moved out of our rented house but friends have said and i have heard alsorts from other people's break ups saying they where the worst boyfriend,that they hate them etc.ect: what do you think!!!!!!!!!!! the spilt was not down to cheating or anything bad just she said we where moving apart!!!!!

They say hate is the opposite of love & that if you even feel hate for someone then you still feel something.
In actual fact the opposite of love is indifference...I'm not saying she feels this...I don't have a clue...but it could be that she just feels enough was enough & it isn't all worth talking about.
Anger & hurt are what cause people to air their views concerning what or what didn't take place in a relationship...when people are emotionally hurt...they'll talk to just about anyone that will listen...then again you have some very vindictive people out there that just can't accept they're not wanted anymore...normally because of their behaviour....who then proceed to make the other party out to be the biggest bast.ard going...
She could feel that there's nothing "bad" to say & doesn't particularly relish in playing the little girl hurt routine or plonking blame firmly on someone elses shoulders. She's clearly not the vindictive type.
It seems from what you say that as nothing un-pleasant actually took place to cause the relationship to break up then there's nothing she can particularly go around slagging you off about. You just both drifted apart & went your seperate ways.
Much more grown-up than the usual ugly scenes people have when deciding to split.

Chances are that she just felt you had drifted apart, and she had no hard feelings. Not all exes are evil! She probably either hasn't got anything bad to say about you, or has too much respect for the years you spent together to spread stuff around. Gotta respect that. And it can be pretty normal in the rare instances when there is an amicable split.

I've a lot of respect for this sort of break up. I was in the similar situation about a year and a half ago. Me and my ex agreed we were drifting apart, we talked a lot about our feelings and then we simply went our separate ways. We dont talk often, but when we do there's nothing uncivilised from either of us or our friends.

Some people are mature enough not to bad mouth their ex esp if she wanted to move apart. Other people want others to realize how much pain their ex put them through by bad mouthing.

That shows maturity on both parts, you both couldn't deny that you did grew apart, sometimes people just take breaks and eventually miss what they had in each other and come back.
