Ouch!

Carpet burn or friction burn is similar to a first degree or superficial burn. Which involves the top layers of the skin, which is why it can be so painful.

Wash with soapy water, and cover with a non stick dressing for a few days so your clothes etc do not stick to it, and protect the area from infection.

If the pain is to unbearable then take a pain killer.

Good luck and have a Happy New Year!

Neosporin is terrific, and you can get it with aspirin in it so the pain is relief is quick. Aloe is good, too.
Personally, I'd just grab a vitimin E capsule (oil based), stick a pin in it, spread some oil on the owee and repeat later. The E also takes the pain away (great for other small burns as well). Keep it uncovered so it'll scab then finish healing.

Treat it with a disinfectant, let the spots scab over, and that's it. If you are looking to soothe the pain, you can try rubbing a little aloe on the spots, but otherwise, that's really all you can do.

you can't really do anything. i get floor burns from the basketball court and you just need to suck it up. if you really want to then put ice on it if its a little swollen on your knee, because that can happen.

Rub Vaseline on it, but don't cover it whatever you do. Keep massaging it well with Vaseline and in a few days you should feel the difference.
