there are some psychological explanations for it, every one has a picture of his mother or the people he loves from his childhood in his subconcious and when you see some one who is resemble to that picture you'll have very good and gentle feelings toward that person, or maybe ho have loved some one(in real world or an actress or ...) or have had some fantasies about your perfect match and somehow she has some personality traits that overlap them.
