No, Internet is not the safest, hence not the best way to find your love. In fact, many a times, it's boys that are coming on chat as girls -- just for the fun of it. Many other times, you land up falling in love with much older women who are out there to fish for the young colts. Yet at other times, it's the swindlers (haven't you heard of the Nigerian Net Swindlers) who trap you to extract large cash. Don't forget that Internet is a myth -- it's far from the reality. My advice to you is -- get real in life and love happens on it's own, you don't go about hunting for it.

Maybe ... Love can happen anywhere, but you have to meet in person at some point and really get to know that person. Talk to them on the phone as much as possible if you can't meet right now. This will alow you to get comfortable with the personity and also find about more about them, plus you can hear the sincerity in their voice.
The best why to find a mate is to get out and do things you like to do and go places you like to go, 9 times out of 10 there is going be someone else there who's cute and single and hey they like to do the same thing you liek to do. :-)

Well.....if the world's worst criminals can thrive on net then why cant love happen on net...yes truly it can happen BUT you are not always sure what the other person actually is behind the chatting box. Infact, nowadays Internet is not that safe for starting any kind of relationship.Don't you think it's so weird that the person whom you are in love with is an "uncertainity"!!

NO!
I firmly believe that love can not truly develop online.
This is not to say that you can not meet someone online, and then after meeting in person fall in love. That is totally possible, but love requires more honesty and sharing than can ever be achieved online.
I have a whole long explanation for why I believe this, but I won't bore you with it. If you meet someone you think you might like... GO MEET THEM!

not teh best way, the best way is probably through a mutual friend or through work, bsaically someone who is a friend first then you end up dating.
But onilne love can happen, the chances are smaller for complete strangers, but if a friend of a friend e-mails you or you start im-ing eachother, I think it's pretty safe.
its good for friendship though, because ppl online are more honest (it helps that they dont' have to say things to your face) so they tend to g ive straight to the fact advice.

It's not the best way to find someone for love, but the network is wide. However, it is not recommended as those people are mostly just looking for short-lasted romance rather than true love. It can happen, but very rarely.

It is definitely not the best way to find someone but it is not impossible. I mean, it happened to my cousin, she met someone online and they've been together now for more than 5 years (I kinda lost track). I wouldn't suggest internet love but it is okay to meet someone online and get in contact with him/her afterwards as long as your careful.

No. My wife met her first husband online. He turned out to be a fu*kin' idiot. Yes, they were young, but, things still haven't changed for him. He's still an idiot. haha He's learnin' though. The net is no place to meet someone. Try a bar, church, school...etc. How did people meet one another before the net??? It's just "Satan in a Box".
