I have heard that there are independent wholesalers who sell 3 bottles of pure essential/scent oil for S$10. Any one knows who/where?

Thank you.

You can buy even 1 pure essential oil for S$10.00 unless its a avery small bottle. Also you won't what to buy from unknown source where its heavily diluted or even blended. Anyway, essential oil lasts nearly forever. Buy one good bottle and use it until its finished.

There are many sources of 2nd hand books in Singapore. As has been mentioned, Bras Basah is one location where you can find many such shops. There's a second hand book shop there, I forgot what it's called, that's off to one side of the escalator that sells all kinds of obscure treasures, like a book of dirty limericks by Isaac Asimov. For cheap new books, I would suggest going to Kinokuniya (at Takashimaya on Orchard Rd). I've found that they're consistently the cheapest sellers out there, plus you can get a membership with ten percent discount. Nearby is Borders, at Wheelock Place, which is pretty cheap as well. And you can occasionally find a place to sit down to read before you buy. As far as I know, smaller bookshops always sell at higher prices in Singapore. Plus Carrefour is a supermarket, not a bookshop.
