I would like to make a pilgrimage to Isreal to witness the sacred places of my religion.
I am positive that the jews will give safe passage, but must I worry about intolerant Islams killing or kidnapping me?

It is relatively safe as long as you go with a group or a friend.

Yeah, they say it's safe! Try and get a book called 'Jerusalem and the Holy Land' by DK...they say it is safe for tourists...and if anything does happen they say it doesn't really bother the tourists! I got this from that book...it's really a good travel guide! =)

yes, just watch out for Palestinians. Israel loves Americans, we are one of the reasons they have a country.

Israel is probably safer than any big city in America.
