I was taught in Catholic school by a really mean nun that my sweet little dog couldn't go to Heaven because animals have no soul. I thought to myself, "How come that witch is going to Heaven and my dog isn't?"

No ,Dogs cannot goto heaven because they are under hell place where they have to remain there till completion of their punishment. This is control by the several Deity of one Universe .But Dogs can goto Heaven during cycle of life and death. even Dog can come to earth in Human form .Soul transform from one body to another ,not at his own strength but by Deity.

Yes, animals are mentioned in the Bible as being in Heaven. But not dogs!

Dogs does not have a soul, Therefore they go to neither place, But the spirit of the beast goes back to God who gave it the spirit, & since there is no soul Then how can a soul that does not exist go anywhere. anymore atheists questions.

They don't go anywhere when they die. They don't have souls, so they just die.
