I remember that quote, i tried to look it up but there are to many quotes with the word just connect.

I can't remember if this was used as an adverting slogan, although that's likely, but it probably originates from a quotation from Howard's End:

Only connect! That was the whole of her sermon.
Only connect the prose and the passion, and both will be exalted,
