I want to move out my parents house and be on my own but I dont have any income at the moment. It depress me to live here, and I feel the only source of relief would be to leave. I dont know any family member well to just crash with them. All my friends are guys. SO I am kind of alone. I am in school but getting distracted. I would live on dorm but my mom refuse to pay for it. I apply to jobs every night but get no response. I dont know what to do. I am not happy at my home.

I was in your shoes many years ago. I really want a job but can't find one. All you do is go to many job websites and put up your resumes as many jobs as you can. If you keep trying, you will sooner or later have a job. You might be frustrated by going to so many interviews and don't have a job, but eventually you WILL have a job. There is no such thing as not having a job. When you have a job, you can manage your finances well enough to move out on your own. When you move out, you will have glad that you went through this because if you weren't strong enough to try trying, you would never gone this far.

Ohh, i moved out when i was twelve and went to jail for seven ounces of meth when i was almost 14. my advice to you is wait until you are finacialy okay before you making any moving decisons. i understand hateing where you live. so untill you get a job. go hang out at the mall all the time. go to NA meetings. get the hell away from the house. the less time you spend there the more opptamistic youll get bout finding a job. but you dont want to sleep on the streets. and no one goes out one day and just decides thats what there goin to do. it sometimes just ends up that way without a plan. so make sure you have a plan. and good luck. youll make it if you want it bad enough...

OH booo hooo---life doesn't owe you anything---if you really want out you'll find a job---you better get going--join a club or something--the whole thing sounds pathetic. I never heard of someone not being able to find some kind of job---start walking and get off the computer. Do you think you are the only one in the whole world who has this problem???

Hey, stay positive and keep looking!

Also try to fill the time with friends, other family, and keep yourself occupied - that way you will only be home a minimal amount of time each day (just to sleep, laundry etc.)

And exercise (go JOGGING early morning or late evening) too because it keeps you sane, helps you deal with the depression, gets you in a good mood and it will help you work out most of this frustration.

Well, until you can get a job and earn some money to pay bills when you decide to move out of your Mom's house, you will just have to deal with it.
