guys, seriously!
you know that you see more in a girl then her personality.
what if a fat ugly woman approached you, but was the nicest person you ever met.
what if a slim sexy woman apprached you but was vile and nasty on the inside?

I think that what guys want changes with age. Of course any answer is a generalization, but young guys want a sexy, beautiful woman who makes them feel good about themselves- builds their self esteem, announces to the world how successful they are as "men." Know that at this point the relationship is about them. As you get into your later 20's I think that compatibility, warmth, acceptance of your faults, and a willingness to face the problems of life together become far more important than bust size. Some men never grow up and remain emotional children, just as some women will always be interested in a trophy husband with a large bank account.

You might even consider the opposite of what you're asking... what do guys find repulsive or unattractive?
My answer to that question would be:
1. Insecure or lack of self-worth/confidence.
2. Lack of independence.
3. Stick in the mud... too serious.
4. Inconsiderate.
5. Arrogant
Do you ever ask yourself why unattractive people seem to be in successful relationships while what the world considers "attractive" people have difficulty?

hahahaha, well, yeah, if a the nicest fat blob came up and I wasn't attracted I wouldn't date her. Same goes for a hottie who was selfish, cruel and vile, for me: sweetness.
It doesn't matter if she's not the freaking head cheerleader!! you just have to find someone you find attractive. Although some people go for the pop look, you know, straight out of the salon look always, reeking perfume, etc.

Honesty – Misleading girls are the worse.
Smart girls are a plus
Secure – They have to be their own person and not follow.
Communication – believe it or not
Space – some chics never give the guy any space
Fit and Healthy - Over weight isn't to attractive.

I can't speak for every guy on the planet. But what i look for is a girl with a sense of humor intelligent and laid back and personality is key. Looks to me don't matter at all. Its personality for me all the way.

Each guy has likes and dislikes---so do women---we all want the hot chick or steamy hunk---but that doesn't happen---we really want a secure, honest, respectful, courteous, attentive, and mature mate---someone who takes the time to know their partner, grow with them, communicate with them, show that they care. Beauty is only skin deep---that's a fact---we all want someone who makes us happy regardless of looks or anything else. Get a book on the art of relationships--you'll be happy you did.

Good question, and to be totally honest... Its got to the point now, that i dont "look" for anything in a girl, to do that means that youre putting preconceptions and expectations on them.... I try n get to know someone before i decide if i want to take it further...

For me personally is a sense of humor. I always thought Tina Fey is near perfect for me. Even a girl who has an Ellen DeGeneres (from when she still had her sitcom) style type of humour would be great.

pretty, smiles a lot, intelligent and good conversationalist but not intimidating, fun to be around, flirtatious. similar tastes in art or music or something like that always helps. a lot of girls think it is the makeup, perfume or clothes, but for most guys i know it is often simply how she acts or looks. most guys will respond to flirting with most girls unless they are really not their type.
