16 is a nice age. Young people have to meet with each other and have friendships together, if not, how will they be prepared for future adult life?
Girls who never had the chance to have a nice teenager relation ship with somebody of the same age won’t be able to get along later in life concerning serious relation ships.
Everything is a "learning" process in life and people learn how to get along with the other sex, how to cope with love, splitting up and troubles. I think it’s important to live these experiences...
I don’t think, that 16 years is too young to have a date with a boy around the same age. (Between 16 and 19 perhaps)
But if you ask me if it’s ok that a 16-year-old girl has dates with a man of average age of 20 and more - no way!! (My true opinion)
Because young people around 16 years have the same interests and go to the same places and they are both teenagers.

yes, in this day and age, 14 year olds go on dates and they sometimes have sex at that age as well, it is perfectly normal for a 16 year old dto date and experiment with different stuff like alcohol, smoking, bad stuff but they ust be exposed to different things in life so that when they grow up, they can decide if they want to continue with what they where doing

questions like these,usually asked by authorative parents,believe in the usage of rules and regulations in instilling discipline and is very dictatorial in its ways-children,especially teens,should be given to privellege to make their own choices in order to mature well,and things that are forbidden are often more tempting and putting down too many limitations could make a 16 year old rebelious and spiteful.i jus assumed you were a parent/guardian,but if you're not,go ahead and try new things but be sure to keep to your principles and think before acting.

I think it should be okay.
It's okay for a 16 year old to get a driver's licsense, so why wouldn't it be okay to go to a movie or something with a guy (someone your age)?

Guys hv only one thing in mind, so if u r confident of urself and cn protect urself and also sure u wont indulge urself and spoil ur studies then ok , and best is , if u can, get ur parents aprooval for him
