My vet recommended using vaseline - and it works really well. Just don't use it for longer than you have to because you don't want your dog's pads to get too soft, either.

We feed our dogs salmon and wild fish oil pills. It really seems to keep them from cracking. We have a lab and a heinz 57

If you have a local pet store or feed store they have medicine for paws that all work good

Bag balm. I think it's for cows udders when they get chapped but it works great.

Vaseline is very good for that. just don't put too much or you'll have it all over your house too.
