And why did the son of god entre the world through a womans vagina. Why could not he have been made of dust like Adam? Just seems a bit rude and a lot of unnecessary paimn for Mary.
And also if the son of God is also God then why did he impregnate Mary one way and then come out of her the other? And who was looking after the cosmos while God was in Marys oven for 9 months? Did not God get bored in there? Like its all weird, like a man growing out of his own sperm sack via an unasked womans womb and vagina. Just seems like it was all some weird P.R. and really in reality just an ordinary birth via Joe to me. But please explain.
Oh, thanx for the violation notice

Yes, the whole story is extremely weird when you think about it. If I were a woman and this were the model of womanhood and female sexuality provided to me by my culture I would run away. Very fast.

It is, of course, mythology; but mythology reflects the beliefs and values of the people who create and propogate those myths.

Make that very, very fast.

Alternatively, get angry and challenge the nutcases. Not very "ladylike" I know, but at least you get to keep some dignity.

WOW, the best question I have read yet. Although, not a question, more of a statement. Do yourself a favor and do not be fretted by the radical’s on-line, sharing their blind opinions. I believe that it is an impossibility for a woman to become impregnated from a dream, apparition, or whatever it was Mary supposedly felt at her time of impregnation. I have had a long night, so my rebuttal will be brief, if not boring or even confusing. It is very simple to put your beliefs and “faith” into an improbable circumstance is asinine. Truth is, my opinion is this…Mary had sex prior to the birth of a supposed savior. It seems though we try to fool ourselves with a bullshi’ façade drawn by those architects of invention. Christianity shows a fallacious realism of some legitimacy claiming on how we must live our lives. According to scripture (the bible), Joseph did not see this pregnancy coming, what a shock it must have been. If only men of today’s’ time and age were so laid back to say, “hey honey it is the Lords’ child, I know we never had this type of relationship, but hey…it is Gods’ will”. Nowadays, if you find someone who buys a story like this, let me know, because, even the most bible-thumping people I know would say, “yo man, she playin’ ya”

It was a miracle that Mary became pregnant by Jehovah's Holy Spirit. Think about it; why would a perfect God defile himself with relations with an imperfect woman? Jehovah God does not need anything, let alone imperfect relations with a woman. It was Jehovah's purpose that Jesus His son transfer his perfect life from heaven to the earth to live a perfect life without sin that Adam had failed to do. Jehovah was NOT in the womb of Mary. Jesus was. Look to your copy of the Bible & read the first & second chapters of Matthew to further educate yourself.

Wishing you the best;

Mary got pregnant after a splendid moment with Gabriel. There were no condoms widely available at that time. Since she was married to Joseph, a nice guy much older then her who did not yet have the oportunity to .... well you see . She came up with an interesting story, like many girls do in that situation.
It's well described in middle eastern tales an legends.
So no magic involved, just plain biology and tales.

I get tired of answering these demented questions... it was a MIRACLE. He did it not need physical contact or anything, and it was an honor for Mary to have him. As for the second question in the second paragraph, that was God the SON, as opposed to God the FATHER who was still in control. Jesus was to have a life with no unfair advantages, which meant being born like anyone else and at times suffering.

Yes, and Mary accepted, without question, God's loving plan for man. "I am the handmaid of the Lord , let it be done to me according to your word.." - Luke 1,38

I have to give you a lecture on the mystery of the Trinity to be able to answer your other questions. I suggest you attend a Catholic
Catechetical class. You will learn other things besides creation. You might even meet God.

As sala'amu alei'kum, aziza.

It was the Will of Allah, our Father, the Most Merciful, the Most Benficient; that Maryam [pbuh] be blessed with His Son - Jesus [pbuh] when she was yet Pure.

Allah [saw] was not there in Maryam's womb as you suggest, aziza.

May I say that it does not behove a lady to behave thus and say such things, ya aziza?

May Peace and Blessings be upon all of you.

Ma sala'amah, ya aziza.
