Try a "South side cooler" non- alcoholic cocktail
bruise 4 mint leaves with a tsp of fine brown sugar add loads of crushed ice (or ordinary ice, if your really thirsty),35 ml of lemon/lime juice and top up with 100ml soda water, stir really well to make sure the sugar disolves somewhat, drink and enjoy.
minty, sweet, sour, refreshing & thirst quenshing in one go!!

I beleive plain old water is actually the mosty satesfieing. Though I would also try apple cider, a not-to-sweet fruit juice, or a ginger ale like Verner's.
