Any evidence of WMD going to Syria would have been plastered all over the media two or three years ago. Syria is on the list but Iran may be first. The neocon journals such as the Weekly Standard and the National Review favor bombing Iran followed by an invasion of Syria.

nicely, I easily do not do not ignore that Saddam's WMDs are hidden in Syria. Nor does our authorities, and they easily looked at that challenge very intensely. yet for sure, a adverse can in no way be shown, fairly to some. there's a huge massive difference between Libya and Syria. In Libya, the rebels requested for assistance, and the African League also did so. That allowed the UN to bypass a determination making an allowance for the action. there is no such request from those opposing the Syrian authorities from interior of Syria. And NATO had sufficient issues doing the Libyan operation, and the U. S. is stretched already skinny. And, an attack on Syria might want to carry forth consequences that authorities leaders understand all too nicely, so it includes merely too a lot threat of destabilizing the full center East. If NATO attacked Syria, and Syria in turn attacked Israel, what are you prepared to have performed? In Libya, an prepared competition stepped as a lot as form an intervening time authorities to attempt to salvage order from chaos. this remains considered if which will be triumphant. No such prepared competition exists in Syria. So it would want to be great chaos, and bloodshed. yet do not underestimate the skill of Turkey and Saudi Arabia who're leaning sturdy on the Syrian authorities.

It might have been equipment for building WMD, but I doubt that it was the real thing. It's a shame that Bush got us into this Iraqi quagmire by his insistence that Saddam was such a great threat. Especially went we should have stayed in Afghanistan where we had roused the Taliban and were kicking terrorist butt and most of the world's nations were sympathetic to our cause. Saddam could have been dealt with in a much better way.

I agree that they were sent to Syria but I don't know if they are still there. There are many reason's to have Syria on our list such as alot of insurgents are funneled through there. I'm sure weapons are too. However I don't think we are in a position to get involved in a war with a 3rd country right now. Our troops are spread to thin now.

Syria knows we know. Why do you think they have been so quiet lately. We will get what we want out of Syria, the way we got it from Libya. As far as the WMD's, they will be secretly destroyed in Syria and all will be forgotten.

Don't you realize what a bully you are? You are probably the kind of guy who has a chip on his shoulder and anything that threatens your insecure, unstable masculinity gets out the gun. People like you contribute to the horrors of the world. You are only a mirror image of what you despise. If you have a wife and child or children, I feel sorry they have to live with such a sensibility day in day out. You probably have no idea what they really think of you.

I agree, however, Syria is a pimple on the world's a** and wouldn't know what to do with the weapons anyway.

To all the idiots who don't believe they exist.
They do. Big surprise it wasn't in the newspaper huh. We still find chemical weapons here. The desert is a big place with lots of sand dunes, mounds whatever you want to call them. I guess you missed that in the daily times, oh wait it wasn't there. I forgot if it wasn't in the news it wasn't true.

I doubt Iraq had many WMDs left, and those that were left were probably burried underground somewhere where no one could find them.
