My co-worker is bi-polar and emotional every day. It is like a roller-coaster ride.

I am a "mental case" who had coworkers go to my boss... now I live off social security disability and that is all. Intervention is needed but careful how you go about it. Not only are you responsibible if you do don't do anything... you are too if you do.

some people with a bi polar illness have a history of violence, but not all. usually before they are diagnosed, and treated. treat him or her as you would any other co worker. if you have a problem, then talk to this person. i only would report to you employer if there is clear and imminent danger to yourself or others. give this person a chance and only base your opinions on his interactions and work performance not his illness or past history.

Get a life of your own and stop prying into other peoples business. Most likely you took what they said out of context. Relaying this information back to your boss will take it even further out of context. This person could end up losing their job over something petty. Unless this person is making a specific threat that is genuine and not said in a joking matter you should keep this information to yourself. Tattling is elementary school B.S.

I hate to say it, but if the safety of others is at risk, then you should definately let your boss know...tell your boss your concerns, and that you are not a trouble maker,..but just fear that if you DON'T say something, that you would really feel bad if something happened that you might have prevented...Good luck..

are you the only one that know about this? If so you should warn someone but tell the FULL and TRUTHFUL story so that no rumors are spread and so that someone doesnt get the wrong impression.

I don't think it's any of your business. If it affects his/her job, then the employer will find out in due time.
