Try not to go to medication as the first form of treatment. Therapy [CBT] does help, see a counsellor.
If you do insist on medication see a Psychiatrist rather than a General Practitioner. Most medications are OK if & only if taken as prescribed and for a brief period

Meditation and loving oneself - truly, does it every time. You don't need medication - just be committed to your own self and not faking it with anyone for any reason.

I take Clonazepam... it is a benzo and addictive... but works great.
Been on them for over 5 years...

relaxatin, meditation or yoga ( you can go into sports or find a worthwhile hobby). Any drug is a potential toxin.
