In summary, Guy 1 seems shy and seems to like me. He looks in my direction and is upbeat when I talk to him. He's been downcast and more introverted toward others since i started ignoring him 2 weeks ago after he "rejected" me for coffee. He appears upset when me and Guy 2 are around each other but says NOTHING.
Guy 2 knows how to talk to women. Tuesday night he started flirting with me, came out specially (I BET) Thusday night for work drinks to see me, today he half asks me out for new years eve.
I think 1 cares but is half giving up...if its to not cause fights, cool. If its 'cause i'm not worth it, well....
What can I do? I won't see 1 til Tuesday. 2 I see tomorrow. Honestly, I lead 2 on a bit to get 1 to do something (healthy competition?)...and it's not quite working. I think 1 could be great, just can't talk to girls. But I won't risk having nothing by giving up on 2. Any ideas?

Do not get involved with co-workers unless you are prepared to get fired tomorrow. This can only end in either you or the other guy quitting your current job, or a sexual harassment suit. Think about it.

It sounds like you really like the shy guy....and hey...truth be told - nice guys usually are better relationship material in the end. The second guy might be better at talking to women because he has a lot more experience doing it - and that may not be such a good thing. Just tell the shy guy flat out that you are interested in getting to know him better and ask him if feels the same. Don't be the shy girl....you two will get nowhere fast!

#1 will most likely give you the better long term relationship.
you should give #1 more chances tho if you like him better.
he rejected going out but you should try again, go out just as friends, same as #2 and see who you like better.
dont make #1 too jealous because that makes you look like a bad person and he may feel he isnt good enough because you flirt with other guys. trust me i know this myself and it puts me off if girls do it too much (im shy).
#2 might be more direct in his approach and flirty with you but not giving #1 another chance means you will never know what hes like deep down.. and he might be the one who treats you best.
1# is just too shy to do anything about it and is upset for a reason, hes jealous so either he likes you or he gets sick of people tryin to make him jealous lol.
i think you should take the initiative, i like girls who take the initiative sometimes. go out as friends seperately, see who you like best of the 2. then you will know what you want. gd luck :)

Hi, I wanted to anwer your question because, I'm like guy1 I also shy and have a big problems when I want to ask a girl out or even in the ealy stages inorder to let her know that I like her if she didnt notice (this is me).
I prefer with guy1 coz if hes shy this didnt mean that hes the not the one for you. But if your sure that he likes you, and you like him, go girl make te move its ok, let him know that you like him and he will make the next step. Because the problem is which I have it, is that im not sure if she like me also, and hes afraid of being rejected, so your move will protect the space between you and give him confidence, which he will be sure about your opinion about him. just dont wait, you can make the first move. Bye also as a joke I hope that the gitl I liked would have somebody told her that , ok Bye, and goodluck.

It has to be you who to choose from 1 or 2. You know them best and it is you the only person who knows with whom there's chemistry. For whom do you feel more? Who do you like more? The choice is up to you and nobody can help you. So listen to yourself and follow your heart and Good Luck.
