No. It was made up to scare people into the church.

Yes I believe in Hell.
I have heard the Mary Baxter tapes. There is nothing in her revelation that is not found in the Bible. I'm not sure what to think about her.
May the Lord richly bless you.

Hell is real. In a three month hallucination or vision, whatever you prefer to call it I looked into Hell. It is an infinite spiritual abyss of utter despair. There is crystal clear consciousness without sleep or rest. There is no goodness in Hell. All things of God are absent. God does not reject people. People reject God. The saddest thing is that they eventually get what they want. An eternity without God nor his blessings that many take for granted. For fifteen years, just to think of it gave me goose bumps. I do not wish anyone to go to hell.

I believe in Heaven and in Hell in different terms.
I do not believe in Celestial plains of existence but rather how your spirit is carried on (how people pass on their memories of you, and how society passes on your impacts.)
If you are a good person and are remembered fondly and made an impact on society no matter how small than I feel you've achieved "Heaven".
But if you are not remembered fondly, say like, Jeffrey Dahmer for instance. I feel that the negative emotions carried with your name is in essence "Hell".

I was thinking about this the other day. They say if you drink alchol and party, and have sex that you wont get into heaven. Well to me it sounds like heaven is filled with a bunch of people that I wouldnt hang out with. So maybee there is some where between heaven and hell that would be ok.

Quite simply, no.
Additionally, I don't like how the idea of Juedo-Christian Hell has invaded all representations of any other mythology's underworld by transforming what was originally portrayed as a fairly likable place you go when you're dead into a dark dank and dreary place where souls swim around going "Uuurhh..."

Hell is the hardest thing to grasp. No human WANTS to believe in it so they say no, or avoid it. I mean dealing with a punishment and a place that is an eternal lake of fire, how do you cope with that thought. It is hard for a human to grasp. But I do believe hell exists. It is a hard truth to swallow, but it is truth.

I believe in hell as described by our Lord Jesus Christ in the Bible; where the "fire is not quenched, and their worm dieth not".
It is a place of eternal torment to all those who have not had their sins forgiven by the Saviour. Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me".

You gotta take the bad with the good. So anyone who believes in Heaven has to believe in Hell.

I do not believe in an eternal hell.
and as far as I am concerned an entity that would have an eternal hell, or allow humans to go there, let alone the majority of them, is an evil entity and not worthy of worship.
