What would you do, despite the world having several faiths? If you found out one day that, Jesus, Mohammed, Krishna and all the other messengers from all the other faiths were acting with instructions from only ONE supreme being. How would it change your life?

Please answer the question, i do not want to know if you think your religion is supreme, or if you think all the other faiths are fake. We should learn to respect one another.

Watch Borat and get your mind to analyse why the world 'hates' America so much. There's alot of lack of respect for fellow people.

Thanks for answering.

I meant, what if Krishna, Jesus, Buddha, Mohammad, and all others from other faiths, were a manifestation of GOD. I know the bible, the Qu'ran, the Upanishads, Bahgavad Gita. I am open to all religions. Different journey, same destination. Answer the Question.. I don't want your opinions.

How would I find this out? I mean, seriously, how am I supposed to find this out?

Honestly, it doesn't matter. This supreme being you speak of doesn't exist so the issue will never arise.

I am a hard polytheist, but I don't think I'd have much trouble accepting that all known deities were simply manifestations of a supreme, unknowable deity. I really don't think it would be much of a change for me at all. Even though I believe in many separate deities, I don't feel that any of them are all-knowing or all-powerful. My mind can't comprehend that concept. So an unknowable single deity with different manifestations isn't too much of a stretch.

Aren't Hindu beliefs a little like this?

If I found out there was only one goddess, I would jump for Joy.
This kind of question is rather deceptive. Is it truly a 'debate' or an 'enquiry' into faith of other people? Most likely you already have your 'one god', and for some reason you want to know what others would do if and when they found your 'god'? Is this what you are truly looking for? I can respect others here, but I do not feel the need to ask them about their faith on some pretense such as you have. If they have their 'one god', could they just PLEASE keep he/she/it to themselves? I promise to do the same.
As for learning more about the Americans, perhaps a show on PBS would be more educational than 'Borat'. That is really a shallow way to understand what others think of the Americans. No disrespect, but your 'question' and 'suggestion' leave a lot to be desired.
"How would it change your life?" AND "I don't want your opinions." LMFAO

It's actually impossible with the science we have today to conclude that one god made it all. Nature did it all themselves. We evolved all by ourselves and science proves this. You honestly have to look at the societal reasons why religion was created. Lack of knowledge in ancient times caused us, humans, to look to a higher being to answer questions why, for example was my husband killed by a saber tooth tiger. Humans couldn't find any reason why so assumed it was something else that they couldn't comprehend. How often do you hear.."It was god's will.." when something happens so bad that it doesn't make sense.

Along another vein, those in power used religion to control their people.

I think if you looked at religion as what it really was, you might find an answer.

As for the respect for fellow people...we are humans. We are a war like, territorial animal and we don't like people bothering us or touching our stuff. American is tame compared to other countries. At least America does not condone things like female genital mutilation or forcing people to live a certain way. That's total disrespect for humanity if you ask me. So, someone doesn't keep the door open for you...at least you don't have to suffer the indignity of having to bow down to a leader.

You should have a look at the above link.
Note the statements "it is often said that world religions form a unity, and only this unity provides the right perspective on ultimate truth...
If...(all religions lead us to the same finality), and we choose the second (only one of them is right), we have not lost anything. Despite our ignorance, we will arrive at the same happy end as the other travelers who have chosen other spiritual paths. A less happy situation would be given by the second possibility, that a single spiritual path is valid and we have chosen the wrong one. In this case religious syncretism misleads travelers to spiritual disaster, so they at least should be warned. A third possibility, that all spiritual paths are wrong, is denied by the nature of our spiritual quest itself, which demands a real fulfillment. "

Your question is what I believe in (I am a muslim ) , I believe there is only one god " Allah " is his name in arabic . His instructions along ages to Jesus , Mohammed , Ibrahim, Mouses ..... and many others is the reason of the existance of several faiths in our world . That's why we should respect other religions and faiths . You will find many similar instructions in different religions this is because the source is one .

I know that there is only one God. It has changed my life. Religion does not matter.. there is only one place you go when you die. If you believe you return "home".. I believe we are living hell on earth right now.

Doesn't knowing there is only one God, make you feel comforted. Explore different religions now. You should start to think outside your box!!!

You are being watched?? what kind of a concept is this? People are watching you, judging you.. but there is no one man who is God, that is watching you. There is no judgement. So you can forget about repentance and the bible. There is no forgiveness.... no need for it. Except to make us more loving humans.

I believe in God, one God, but that hasn't in any way provided me with solutions to the things I consider to be important dilemmas in my life. It only makes me wonder what he will think of me if I do something desperate and crazy. I know he is watching all the time, but I don't know what he is thinking, or why things happen the way they do. So, it doesn't change a whole lot. You just never feel completely alone. It's like being in a room by yourself, with one of those one-way mirrors. You know someone is behind it watching you, but they never answer back when you call.

I believe there is only one God as well. They say the next evolution of the mind will come when we realize that. As far as Americans - Do not label all of us from our Politicians. Most of us that are not rich and still live in the "hood" with regular folk do not think like George Bush and the rest of the politicians. I once thought that Germans were all like Hitler until I went to Germany. They are very cool, down to earth people. They treated me like a brother. Even tho I am Black. I would have never imagined that before I went. So point is - most Americans do not think that way. Just the filthy rich politicians and upper echelon and those here who are brainwashed to believe their ethnocentric point of view! Most of us that are still living in the “Ghetto” do not think like that. We feel like they are pimping us too!!!

I believe there is only one God and all the other religions receive their orders from one being - Satan. Satan couldn't get rid of God's Word, The Bible, so he made up false religions to confuse and blind the people from the truth. God and Satan are in a battle for men's souls. Satan knows he's going to lose and wants to take as many people as he can with him when he's cast into the lake of fire. This isn't a message of hate. God loves everyone unconditionally. Its the sin he hates. That is why he sent Jesus to be the last sacrifice for sin. This is so anyone who is willing can make it into heaven by accepting Jesus as their Savior.
