Lots of people thing this is just a one-night fling where you hook up and do the nasty and never see each other again.

That's probably true.

But there are times when it happens and it is very special, like meant to me. I've had it happen at a wedding, and it was the best coupling ever. Both of us knew it was a one-time thing, that it wouldn't happen again, and in the years since it has happend we've remained friends and still talk from time to time.
