I would recommend you to go Istanbul Jazz Center or Bronx Club or Babylon or Anjelique or Mojo.

Please please please do not go to Taksim Square. Unfortunately the low class people are going there. The only thing you can do at Taksim Square in the new year is to stand next to each other with 100s of people and all looking for a reason to fight with the effect of the alcohol. Taksim is a nice area but better to stay away on new year night.

P.S. Officer Betty always mentions about that she had many problem while she was in Turkiye. Now, it is clear that without getting any recommendation she was always in dirty areas.

And Then visiting the Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet Mosgue. You will see the history,
