Actually no, a glass of red wine a day is very healthy and is good for the heart (At least the French stand by this saying). If you took a bottle a night, then I would say it is a problem.

Drink dark grape juice - has the same ingredient as wine - without the alcohol

alcohol disturbs the normal sleep cycle. you may fall asleep but are more likely to wake after a few hours than if you fall asleep naturally. and i agree with a former anwerer, using anything daily to fall asleep is a problem. talk to your physician or see a sleep specialist.
