Why is atheism on this board ? Really please tell me what your purpose for being here is ? I am not trying to be mean or hateful. I just can't understand why anyone would accuse others of doing things to them when the answer lies with in themselves.I am a Christian and if I don't like something, I either don't have it , or I don't go around it.If there was a site for atheist I wouldn't go there.

Atheism is a belief that there is no God, or the lack of belief that there is a God. Taken either way it means that the God who created the world, and sent his only son to die for the sin of mankind, is not acknowledged. The fact remains that whether people don't believe in God, or believe that he doesn't exist, if they do not repent before they die then they will find out too late that there is a God. Considering that saying this might make people angry at me for telling the truth then who is the one that hates.

*Face Palm* the same would nicely be reported about any ex-members of ANY faith. What else would they be besides Atheists? or Anti-Theists? heavily. there is not any verify in this. education is failing because "evangelicals" favor to remove technological knowledge from the lecture room and insert doctrination, public funding, now and again unions, and this kind of large number of extra causes. human beings are beginning to reason with what's actual and what's not anymore and for that reason the decline in faith/supernatural beliefs. And the decline of favourite residing is specially because of economics. Your argument is for that reason invalid. EDIT: Why do I do this to myself? i'm not an Atheist! thanks for assuming that besides. also I have under no circumstances been called a scumbag, so thanks for the kind praise. I don't think it's that people hate athiests. I think it's that people fear something different. Society shrinks away from those who push or cross boundaries. People are just dumb and they want to conform to a group! Personally I am agnostic. I believe in God but I do not fit into a specific religion

I would ask the same question about christianity, namely, why is there so much hate of christianity on this board. But Jesus Himself gave the answer to that. He said " If the world hates you, know that it hated Me before it hated you".

Alot of closed minds. Choice is a personal issue, it is not up for one to try to force their opinions on someone else just because they don't agree. Let your walkin do the talkin and put the bible in your heart and not over someone head. It does more for spreading the gospel than bashing.

It's kind of like one big fight where you don't exactly know who started it. Atheists poke at religious people, religious people poke at Atheism. The evolution/creation debate can stir up some emotions too.

Hate for atheism?

I just got finished reading a "question" from an atheist calling Christians "brain damaged."

Atheists put messages like that on this forum all the time. Many, many times a day, in fact.

Where is your indignation at this?
