A friend of mine had broken up with her boyfriend because he cheated on her. About two weeks later she got back with him against my advise. Well I went to him and we talked and he told me he loved her and it was a mistake. Just two days later though I walked with her to his house and we caught him in his front room on the couch with another girl! Long story short they started arguing she started crying and I lost it and kicked him in the head pretty hard then walked her home. But later I found out that when he fell he hit his ribs on the coffie table and broke some. I didn't mean to put him in the hospital and now I feel bad... Should I or did he deserve it?

I don't think it would be a good idea to visit him or try to apologize because he'll wanna fight and I don't wanna hurt him again. I already feel bad enough...

Yes. Regardless of what you intended to do, you hurt this guy badly. Knowing martial arts gives you an advantage (assuming he doesn't) and so you should not have used your skills in such way. To me, it is comparable to picking on a child. It is wrong because the person cannot stand against your abilities.

So, yes, feel bad...

You are lucky you aren't in jail, which actually is where you deserve to be.
you'd better get some anger management classes before you kill someone, or hurt them to the point that you end up in jail with a 300 pound cell mate named Bubba who thinks you have a cute as*s.

Women DO NOT need help in situations like this. People SHOULD NOT drop in on others without notice. We all have phones cell phone, or a holler from the front yard should have prevented this mess.

GROW UP.

Yes he deserved it. But that does not mean you should have given it to him. Obviously the guy is a lying pig and you're a thug.

Neither you nor your friend were in physical danger, so you have NO excuse for your behaviour. You'd better learn to control your temper and your actions otherwise you might end up with a cell mate named Bubba and you'll be his bytch.

Yes, but more importantly you should learn from this. It sounds like you have a pretty violent and quick temper. Kicking someone in the head "pretty hard"????? You're lucky he didn't fall and hit his head and get killed or something. You'd be supporting your friend from inside a jail cell.

If you know karate, I would have thought you would have been able to exercise some self control, that being one of principles I thought they taught.

Nevertheless, what's done is done. I would simply go see him, apologise, and leave it there. If you don't see your friend again then I would not be suprised but at least you both know that you tried to make amends.

That is an interesting situation... but then maybe you shouldnt have really needed to be involved, but its good to see that you love your friend enough to stick up for her! I would appologize, and let him know that you were just defending your friend, and tell him you hope there are no hard feelings.

Err...i think you went too far. i also can't help thinking you are in love with this freind of yours (i assume you r a guy) Go apologise to him, even if he deserved it you were still wrong to want to be the one to give him what he deserves.

He deserved it, and not only did he betray her, he lied to you. So, yeah, busting up his ribs, however unintentional, was a little extreme, but he desrved a pop in the face at the least
