Just because I would be power-hungry and no one above can stop me because I would be the sole power. I always thought that that was so ruthless...if the jester didn't make me laugh hard enough its off with his head...man I'm glad I didn't live during those times...

There may be some things for which one may deserve an hundered thousand years of punishment, There is nothing that could justify infinite punishment. ( There would be no point in even creating a world if such a thing were possible, infinite suffereing would cancel out any possible net benifit to there being a world over there being nothing.)
If I had ultimate power, I can could concieve of a world where I would punish someone for 100,000 years, but the idea of infinit punishment is contarry to logic as well as to any conception of a just and loving god.
On the other hand, Ultimate power is not the same as Ultimate knowledge or Ultimate Wisdom. Perhaps God, who is reputed to have these attributes, would see things differently. If so he should explaine himself if he wants worship for as things, and with my limited knowledge, I can do no more than to judge him based upon logic as he has taught it to me.

If I had ultimate power I'm not sure if I would punish someone for a deed or try and help them. My gut answer was to punish someone like a child molester or serial killer for 100,000 years, but when I thought about it, with my version of ultimate power, you can punish and heal. Besides if you truly realized how bad something you did was, that could be the ultimate punishment.

If God gives you clear cut directions on how to avoid it and its totally up to you to follow those directions, who's the one to blame? He gave us life......that is the greatest gift ever. You love living as do all sane people right? And on top of that, he gave us the choice to do whatever we wanted to do. The only thing he asks us to do is obey the Bible. If you ever read the Bible, then you'll see that if everybody actually did what it said, the world would be a much better place. Love everybody, love yourself, do not kill, do not steal, dont cheat if youre married, and so on and so forth. What so bad about that? On the other hand if we do follow the Bible, he promises us eternal life, what could be more greater than living forever with no more dying, sadness, or any other bad stuff we have to put with on Earth. You should try to understand. What do you have to lose?

Widen your mind.

The One who has Ultimate Power, ALSO has Ultimate Knowledge and Ultimate Justice. He know that this person will NOT believe and will continue to commit sins even if he were let off and sent back to Earth, and even if he were given infinite chances he would come right back and revert to sin and disbelief. It's just that you don't know this. But the All-Wise does.

First of all God never punished anyone for 100k years
secondly even the people in hell are forgiven, if they ask for mercy, even though they are in hell they will be saved.
thirdly when the judgment opens hell and death and the oceans, only the sons of perdition are cast out into outer darkness, everyone will be judged and then everyone will be rewarded according their works. Deeds done in the flesh.

I firmly believe God will not reject anyone that bows their Knee in that day.

If I had that kind of Ultimate Power, I would reverse the Evil doings of that individual, and send them back in time to relive their lives properly.

If I had ultimate power there would be no punishment that severe necessary. Anyone that bad would just be killed.

i try not to be a bitter and vengeful person but i guess if my limit was beyond pushed and had Ultimate Power...my reason for punishing someone would be if someone killed or tortured my family members and others i dearly love.
