Dunno if she's a ***** or not.
2 possibilities;
1. she realised what a ***** she'd been and realises how important you are to her ex and that she's gonna have to come to terms with it and learn to accept seeing you. In this case this is a peace offering and you should accept it with good grace as it sounds like your life will be ok.
2. she's a manipulative ***** and is trying to mess with your head but I can't see how getting you this gift would benefit her in a head stuffing game. ( my ex wife was an expert and I learnt a lot.)
I reckon she realised that she's gonna see more of you and has to learn to like it and is trying to be nice. Accept it with good grace.

I have friends who are exs and would do that. Some would be doing it to show there are no hard feelings (esp if she gave him the boot). I even know of exs and current husbands/wives who are even good friends. Most know that their exs new realtion is going to be in their lives as long as the kids are and there is no reason not to get along. As for me, I could never be friends with any ex or their currrent squeeze. If you were my ex, and I ever gave your BF a present, call the bomb squad, or hire a food taster.

The gift is her trying to be nice and let you know she has no hard feelings but there are boundaries.
Some of them may be,
-Don’t go with the dad to pick up or drop off the kids. Ever!!
-It’s okay to be with the dad and the kids.
-But don’t go to the mom’s house unless she invites you.
Remember, just because you’re with the guy
-it doesn’t mean his kids are yours. They’re not, You have _no_ say when it comes to the kids. Leave that to the mom and dad.
Best you can be is the kids friend when they are with you and the dad.

Don't let it bother you, She is prolly just trying to be nice, and maybe she is accepting, that she is divorced, and he has moved on to be with some one new. And as for her getting mad about you going with him to drop his 2 boys off, well, if you ask me, i think that is just jelousy and a little insecurity, So let it go through one ear and out the other!!

Probably she wants to be nice and show she's not upset anymore. For the kid's sake, please try to be nice back.
