i grew up in a devout christian family and ever since i was three i had learnt that Jesus died for my sins cos he loves me. everything was fine back then, but since certain circumstances came along i've been left bitter and hurting. i've been left angry with God, asking why he didn't help me. everythings come to breaking point and i don't know what to do. but i don't want to be angry with God, i want to love him. i want to believe he loves me.i want to believe in him with everything i've got. i've tried to get down on my knees and ask him to help me, cos the bible says all i need to do is ask and believe. but i couldn't get myself to believe, little tiny doubts sprang up all over the place. if God loves me so much then why does he allow me to go through all the pain? if God will never leave nor forsake me then why am i left feeling so forsaken? i really really want to get right with God. i don't want to try any other religion cos inside i just know that Jesus Christ saved and loves me.

Please read "Pilgrims Progress". Also, "Hinds Feet on High Places". What you are passing through is not out of the ordinary for the believer seeking after God. It is needful that you pass this way. The time will come when you will see the faithfulness of God.
John 6:35
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

It is Satan putting all those lies in your head. Rebuke him in the name of Jesus. See, you already know the truth and admit Christ is Lord and Savior and you know that he died for yor sins, just keep praying and you will lose all doubt. Being a christian is hard because you have to go against the world. The world hates God, but if God is for you then who can be against you. Trust me, God tests my faith a lot and when I recognize it is God testing me, I am given more strength, hope faith and power by the blood of Jesus. When it seems as though God is far from you, that's when he is the closest. Ask the Lord for strength, pray the Holy Spirit will guide you and lead you.

He meant every word of it -

Remember the 23rd Psalm - sometimes we go thru the Valley of the Shadow of Death (not my top ten list of favs to do) cause that place sux - God said He would be with us - BUT not protect us from it

Look to Job - He lost everything - and was never bitter

We will quit having pain once we get to Heaven - until then - keep your chin up - Love your Lord with All your Heart! Imagine that when you sing His Praises - a multitude of angels are in the chorus - because God inhabits Praise!

indeed, he never forsakes you, but the real question is: did you forsake Him? If you did, well... If you didn't, read for example 2Corinthians 7:10-11- and search for other passages like these in a concordance of Bible.
maybe you ask yourself :which category i belong to? the first or the second?
for your help, let me ask you a question.
do you have a personal relationship with God?Do you pray daily, do you read and study the Bible daily and do you apply what you learn?

Well I can't say for certain, but maybe it is a test of your faith and how committed you are to it. Naturally we'd all like God to help us, but what if God sat by and let our family die, our wealth disappear, put in prison wrongfully, etc etc etc.... Would we still have the commitment to love him, or is our love truly only when things are going good? God knows our hearts, but sometimes, maybe, he does things so that WE can clearly know our hearts. While we may truly love God, do we really know it? Do we know, if we lose everything we have and everything goes bad, if we will still worship him? Maybe bad things just show us how we will respond. I don't think we were put on this earth so God can see who is good or bad, he already knows the good apart from the bad, but I think the point of life on earth, and the point of evil and good things happening, is so that WE may know where our heart sits so we can have confidence in our salvation, or understand why we were condemned if we made bad choices. Maybe God is just waiting for us to say, "God, whatever bad happens to me, I love you and will follow you" or if we'll say, "God, I love you and this is how you treat me? I don't want to associate with you anymore"....... God doesn't want us to love him just for the good things he offers, nor does he want us to love him just to protect us from the bad things..... He wants us to love him for who he is, because he loves us for who we are. When all is said and done, isn't that true love?

Obviously your gods forsake you on a regular basis. I have never known anyone who had a prayer "answered." At least, not positively. Apparently, your gods say "No" a lot. And I would ask the victims of last year's tsunami if they feel any gods were watching over them.
My advice: Rely on yourself.

Yes, but here is the rub! Jesus was speaking to his disciples. After his disciples died, it does not necessarily apply to the world, and probably not to the unbelievers and the carnal.
However, someone received a revelation and prophesied that Jesus sends angels in His place to those that believe. So it is not Always him that ministerst to everyone.
it is also written that jesus goes before, behind and is on the left hand and on the righ side. but does that apply to everyone or are there angels that minister FOR Him in His Name?

Then why did he died? why did the Father has to kill him if he loves him so much? why would the Father forsake Jesus on the cross? why would the Father sacrificed him in the first place?

Why would he threatened his own son? Why would he left and where is the kingdom?

why would u want to believe God is that cruel to kill his own son? and says, thats the only way to save human? Is that love?

Why christians thing that jesus is the only saviour? Why don't the father?

"And this is life eternal, that they might know You the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent." John 17:3

"And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness. Honor thy father and [thy] mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go [and] sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come [and] follow me." Matthew 19:16-21.

the commandment is the only saviour as Jesus said!!!

There are a lot of people in the world who feel this way. They feel that God has left them in their times of despair. Just remember: when God isn't on your side, those millions of people are.

i dont think we're supposed to blame god for the bad things that happen to us. i think we're supposed to just have faith in him and he'll get us through it all. thats why i believe that he meant it when he said that he would never forsake us. ... this isnt a good answer but maybe it will help you just a little. :]
