I met this guy last night who was short. I don't always think guys shorter than me are attractive...but he did have a good personality..he dressed nice, and had a nice haircut, etc.
He was funny....
I would have gone out with him, but then he came accross as sort of stuck on himself.
I think if you have a good personality, and are well-kept, you should have no problem finding a date. Anyone who would turn someone down based on height is pretty shallow, and not really worth ANYONE'S time of day

According to my college psych professor, the reason is biological. Biologically, women believe that taller men are better protectors and providers. It comes from when men were the hunters, way back when...
However, no worries. My fiance is 5'3" and I'm 5'7". Statistics don't always apply. :-)

My husband is maybe half an inch taller than me, and it doesn't bother me. I think for shorter women they may like a tall man for protection, but any clever women would figure that out and look beyond that.

It's where short blokes tend to be arrogant, egotistical and generally talk themselves up to compensate for their lack of height.
My friends brothers like this. Constantly spending money to bling his car to get attention (as a result, he is pretty much poor) and acting like a smart *** pretty much all the time, particulary around the ladies. He will make snide remarks to put us down and big note himself. I hate short men, if it wasn't for his brother who calls him 'small fry' being my best friend, I would have smashed his head in a long time ago. Then finished him off with a mullet whipping. lol

because girls don't want to 'look down' to kiss him, but rather 'reach up' to do that.
p.s. 5'6'' isn't short, maybe you just wanted someone taller than you. go somewhere, where the girls are 5' 2''.

Welp, I am almost 6' tall and I dated a guy under 5' tall. He was a FABULOUS guy. In fact, we still keep in contact, his wife is great!

well, my heigh is 1.71m too...
my crush is a little shorter than me, but it doesn't bug me at all cause i'm not in love with his physical, i love what's in his heart.
my answer is, if that guy has a great personality, but he's shorter than me, i will still like him.

i like short guys, even though im tall..the one im with now is an inch shorter than me and im totally inlove with him.physical appearances dont matter man..at least for me..=)
