I wished everyone a Marry Chrismas and Happy Holidays just before Chrismas and it was deleted, saying it was a violation. Huh, must be because I didn't put it in the for of a question??.

I think it was because of that very fact, not to worry though, as I am sure those who read it appreciated it, and one person complained so it was removed as it wasn't a question or answer.

Merry Christmas and Happy New year to you too...more and more rights are being taken from people based on the politically correct agenda. Sad, but true

1. If you read the Community Guidelines, then you will see that you breached them in two ways: firstly for not asking a question (rule 2), and secondly for posting a personal communication (rule 3).

2. It had nothing to do with religion or political correctness. It related to the overall purpose of the site: "Yahoo! Answers is a place for people to ask and answer questions in order to share knowledge." It is more than likely that someone clicked on "Report Abuse" or the flag icon: "As such, please keep your postings to a question and answer format, or they may be deleted when we receive a complaint."

It was deleted because it wasn't a question. The point is to ask questions.

It's Not a violation it is just that some person thought that your "answer" didn't answer the question.
